Welcome to Blue Lagoon Studio. Located within Blue Lagoon Warm Water Centre in Bevendean Brighton, our studio offers both in water and studio based group fitness and holistic classes. Our team of expert and highly experienced teachers invite you to come and explore all the activities on offer. Our classes are created to cater for all levels of fitness and experience.

Pole Fitness

This one hour class is a fun filled, all-inclusive experience that introduces you to the world of Pole Fitness. Our instructors are ‘Xpert‘ qualified and will guide you with their passion and expertise to safely gain strength, flexibility and confidence.

Pole Fit Baby

We are so excited to announce that we have a brand new class! It's for all you parents who want to try Pole Fit and not have to worry about childcare! It's a beautiful introduction to the Pole Fit exercises that keep you fit and keep you smiling. We bring in toys to the studio so your little one can just play next to you. Come meet other parents and enjoy the expertise of our amazing instructors Abbie and Lucy.

Zumba

This class is all inclusive, no matter your age, fitness level, shape or size, you will understander why Zumba is often referred to as an exercise class in disguise. Let the Latin and World rhythm’s take over and feel the calories burn away as you mix low intensity and high intensity dance fitness moves. A fun filled total body workout that boosts energy levels by combing all elements of fitness – flexibility and balance, muscle conditioning, and cardio.

Aqua Yoga

Using specially adapted yoga poses for water, our Aqua Yoga classes work the whole body safely, without any stress or strain. By using water resistance and hydrostatic pressure, this class is perfect for anyone who is looking for a gentle yet effect way to exercise the body and experience a deep level of relaxation. Aqua Yoga has long term health benefits and can aid with injury recovery.

Aqua-Natal Yoga

Aquanatal classes are specifically designed for woman who are 12 weeks plus pregnant. In our beautifully warm pools enjoy the feeling of being weightless whilst learning gentle yoga stretches, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises that help prepare your body for birth. This class offers the following benefits:

  •  Allows better and deeper sleep leading to reduced levels of fatigue and anxiety

  •  A gentle and safe way to exercise abdominal and pelvic floor muscles

  •  Cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone improvement

  •  Increases the efficiency of the nervous system

  •  Improves blood flow to the pelvic area and promotes hormonal balance

  •  Detoxifies and aids the movement of fluids around the body

  •  Gives to time to bond with baby

  •  Meet other Mums in a fun and supportive environment where you can discuss any questions you may have.

 

 Yoga

 Yoga is a physical and mental practice that embraces movement and static poses to strengthen the body, and breath-work and mediation to regulate the nervous system and calm the mind.

 

In this class you will learn how to practice yoga poses, that stimulate the energy of the body and find a sense of balance within. Practiced to music these classes will be alignment, and anatomy based, whilst honouring the spiritual origins and ancient teachings from the East.

Pilates

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the body with an emphasis on stabilising the core. This Mat based class uses exercises that concentrate on improving posture, balance and flexibility. Classes are set to music, fun and a great way to work the body and calm the mind. Suitable for all levels of experience.

 

Mum and Baby Yoga

Suitable from 8 weeks post birth, come meet new mums and support your post pregnancy and post birth recovery. Bring your baby and learn how to safely exercise together, focusing on core stability, pelvic floor function and overall wellbeing.
